My camera finally came back to me. : ))) And so I uploaded the pics from the wedding!! some I posted it below.. the rest can be found in memoirs of the nut. Go see! hahaha

Looking at the photos I couldn't help but smile. The wedding was fantastic aside from the nightmare bride thingy but all in all we had fun!!

Tuition was really nice today. I laughed alot!! Random pieces of damn funny quotes from my tuition kid :

"By kissing babies develop!!"

"The testis goes INTO THE WOMB to fertilise the egg"

So she linked the womb to being part of our saliva since the testis enters the womb and then the egg fertilises... and she SWORE she was never going to kiss nor have sex EVER. haha tsssskk didn't we all do that last time too..But the one that took the cake was,

"There is pubic hair in the womb"

WHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!! *wipes tears* for that one moment in time, I thought aww she's sooo cute!

Anyway a trip to the Lakeside primary for my introductory tour was quite a pleasant one. Little primary one kids that ran up to the three of us and greeted us with such sincerity just melted my heart totally. : ))) I can't wait for next week!!! One boy told us "kenna sai" though, and i was quite thrown off my feet. haha

Meanwhile, happy looking at the photos!

Tired of trying to guess what you really want.

Now I know exactly how she would have felt. Thanks, because I really didn't think it'd ever happen to me.

Upset. How could things have become so awkward in such a short period of time.

I wish you'd just call and scream. At least I'd know what the hell was wrong.

What a fantastic day!! : ))

Met Mimi at City hall for my long awaited Max Brenners treat!! haha we had the fondue there and it was well up to its usual standard. Before that I met her at Mango where I bought another top (haha this one i can fight for the right to buy it!) but yea and a very very pretty funky necklace thing. Thanks mimi for the wonderful fondue treat!!! I think she doesn't want to bet with me for anything anymore. wahha

Then met Joe and Amy at Marina Bay.. Gavin joined us soon after. Played one round of bowling, then had steamboat, watched rats mate (damnnn gross) then played daytona and watched Amy scream her ass off whilst shooting really ugly looking things. hahaha.. Then we played pool!! which I totally officially SUCK at but yea it was fun. Got a ride home too so yay!

Quite excited about tmr too. Going over to sarah's place with stace, then meet the person in charge of us for our school experience next week. I hope I don't screw up the meeting tmr. When I called yesterday I was so gan cheong I said my name was ANDY. -_-" Yea then meeting Anne.anne! to go to Jason's church thingy..

Cheers to a brand new day tmr!

Sunday, June 26, 2005

Just read janice's blog and felt happy for her. She sounded so elated being back in sg! : )) Hope you have a great time in Bangkok babe..

I spent the whole of yesterday rotting at home. Usually I leave aside Sunday (aside from going to church) as family day cos we go on eating rendevous quite traditionally, but yesterday they abandoned me. So I watched more vcds and sweated like a pig at the pasar malam at night.

Life's rather monotonous now. In fact I'm looking forward to school experience next week because it'll be rather interesting, or so I hope. I called them up today and arranged for a meeting. : ))

And so now I shall resume the couch potato vcd-watching then head over to ah hean's place for some chilling out.

Work sucked, and so did you.

And I thought God had been absolutely heartless to have paired me up with them but it turned out to be a blessing at the end! She was nicer than I had expected and He was rather entertaining. Mimi dropped by for awhile, and so did Uncle B. : )))) At least it filled in my periods of ultimate stoning and looking dazed with a damn sore heart because I have no chance anymore to watch this wonderful ballet performance.

I seriously was damn disappointed. Even more so when (....) happened. Feel jaded already and prolly won't have such a big outroar.

So want to work tmr with mimi but sigh I don't know why they closed the slots.

Soccer again and the whole family is in front of the telly. Brazil vs Germany. I'm damn sleepy though. good night.

Decided to post pics of what I bought, or rather grabbed from MNG yesterday at it's bi-annual sale. haha there's one more top but it's not featured in the online catalogue thus no picture.

As usual mad Singaporean women like me with kiasu written all over our faces waited outside the shop at 730am. News amongst fellow shoppers spread that the shop would open at 730. But damn shitheads opened only at 755. And there was already a queue of about 30 people outside.

So when it finally opened they gave out big red plastic bags at the door!! (new idea) but i didn't grab one thinking that I wouldn't have been so crazy to have grabbed as much as one whole bagful. I was damn wrong. Haha I grabbed till I had no more space left on all my fingers, arms and shoulders. Cheong-ed into the fitting room once with a pathetic five pieces of clothes (was already the max). After that it was heck just blardy try it outside. Think I looked rather obscene stuffing my hand down my skirt just to pull the jeans up. I was near sweating man.

Emerged about 2 hours and 342321 phonecalls later. Haha pple called, i called pple to see if we could help each other buy anything. I went mad, we all went mad. But damn happy because Mango really does have genuine sales and that's worth all the shoving for because it's only bi-annual anyway.

With our stomachs growling, the three of us went to macs for breakfast. Wahaha must to the damn classic reactions of several other fellow mac-ers. The these-three-women-are-goners look man.. We looked a bit crazy. Each of us held one BIG bag of alot alot of stuff inside. I think they would have thought Mango was giving away free clothes.

Seriously I was so excited I couldn't quite sleep the night before trying to think of what to get and how to get them. HAHAHA. sigh!! I've spent so much this month I booked myself a whole series of shows to work for in July. To finance myself.

Just returned from work and oh bummer my mum has started snoring already. Don't know why her snoring has been so amplified for the past few days. Last night I had to switch on the radio just to put myself to sleep. And gee at about 4am I woke up to "mamma mia *snore snore* here we go again *snore snore*" I give up man.

Work again tmr night. Sorry Gavin but as much as I would have liked to turn up for the carnival, my dad made plans just now for early dinner before sending me to work. My original plan was to go to town to check out Armani then pop by before going to work. But I hope you had great fun!!!

I miss talking to comrade alot. She hasn't been online for quite sometime. sighh!!!

But on the brighter side, meeting up with Janice was the best ever. : )) Major pigged out but she always makes me feel soo at ease. So glad you're back hons!

Mimi got to be flower girl today. I'm so jealous!!

absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. and one million thanks to hean who grabbed it for me. : )))))))))))))) Posted by Hello

Tmr is THE DAY. I shall report on all other bimbotic women who will flock down too. Muhahaha I've already spotted 34342131 things I would like to get.

Monday, June 20, 2005

It's 1015am. I've read the newspapers, watched tv, watched a vcd and made myself some lovely breakfast. Time passes quite slowly in the morning huh.

With a whole gush of enthusiasm and drive this morning I woke up and got ready for my morning jog. (at last after 2 months of pigging out) but goddammit it was raining. Totally thwarted my plans. Ended up walking around the void deck with mum and then climbed 12 storeys up followed by a series of stretching and other simple stuffs. And then now time passes rathhherrr slooooowwwwwlllyyyy.....

I was so disappointed with yesterday's movie! Ban Ashton Kutcher from now on. poo. Comrade and I periodically rolled our eyes at the same time. Ironically we saw a fellow classmate last night. And ended up talking to him for quite awhile after the movie. (with a bit of contemplation) hahaha but oh my yujia is his friend too!! I was quite surprised.

Looking through my photos yesterday I was hit with such nostalgia. Esp the England ones. And then I realised that most people have changed alot. like really ALOT. Yansy had centre parting hair last time!!! I laughed alot man as I flipped through those photos. I seriously never regretted going on that trip. Everything was beautiful and being in UK for the first time, everything seemed suaku-fied damn nice. : )) Of course Dotty, mw and Yansy made it all better. And oh my how we've all grown since then. I'd so want to go back to Dale Fort and have a look from that strategically placed cliff with the breathtaking view. How come Uni doesn't organise such trips anymore! As in they do but it's to Malaysia.. sian.. hahaha I want to go to UK!

2 mins more to my daily dose of TVB! *grabs a teacake and plonks in front of the telly.

Gotta think of how to while away the afternoon..

I'm feeling real happy!!! I think upon reading mails from various people their happy vibes have rubbed off on me. : ))

They've got what they want, and everyone is bacckk in Singapore!!!

I'm meeting comrade later. Looking forward to that and perhaps watch alot like love!! One of those come-out-sighing shows but I like!! Can't wait for thurs too when I finally get to meet Jan after what seemed like eternity.

These girls never fail to put a smile on my face. Yeeeeee-haaaaa!!!

Everyone's going to bangkok!! Was just wondering how cool it'd be if I went and saw someone familiar there. I think I'd scream and wave my hands in the air or something. Anyone has any idea how much the bonus is going to be in July? THERE IS ONE RIGHT?!?!

I'm just half consoling myself for my splurge today. Seriously no more orchard road for the next ten years or something.

Bored. Waiting for mum to come back so that we can hear the goss she has. Was supposed to catch a vcd movie with my sis but by the time I fussed over my splurge she's talking to her bf now. what the...

I'm having qualms about getting baptised. Don't know if it's what I really want.

"Everybody sees how you seem, however, only some know who you are"

"The one who takes your hand, and touches your heart, is a true friend"

Thank you Jeck!! For this wonderful slide show that came in the email. I feel blessed with the people around me!! : ))

I have decided not to go to Melbourne anymore.

It's sort of giving up on one of my dreams but it really is too late. Even if they gave me a confirmation now how the hell am I supposed to get my visa, health check-up and misc stuff done at ntu. It's almost impossible. But at least I know there were some hitches in the application thus leading to the delay.

I was looking forward to having fun in Melb with Tanya!! And everything was supposedly have gone well with readily available accomodation blah blah.. but I'm tired of hanging on to that hope that I may go. My desire is just not strong enough to hold out and I've given up.

Bangkok anyone? Hahaha.. I was so so tempted to go and buy a Gucci bag yesterday upon the final decision on not going anymore. Cos that means I can free up my supposedly frozen money. However being practical (cher rolls her eyes), I shall save my first 5000 bucks before splurging on that one bag. Wahahha..

As promised I'll still go to Melbourne to visit Tanya. hurhur. Janice! Wai min! Sunita!!! When when!??!

It's another house packing day!! ok actually it's more of pack my table day. I'm so sentimental I take ages to pack one table. sigh

Tuesday, June 14, 2005

Sometimes I wonder if I'm being too nice to the wrong people.

Cheong Amy played a phone joke on me just now and it was damn funny. Sigh she scared the shit out of me by introducing herself as Joanne from NIE and she sounded so disappointed that I had no recollection of a Joanne and I on the other hand was so freaked out cos I thought some freak had gotten the wrong number. Geez BUTTERCUP CHEONG!

I finally lifted up my lazy ass and did some packing today. Reorganised my bags and put them in the new cupboards and I dumped my shoes into a big box. However upon violent protests from family I sadly cannot have my own shoe corner. Sobs. Then I realised I should stop buying stuff from like now. Haha.. I have no more space to fit in more bags nor shoes. Clothes still can cos I clear the old ones pretty often.

But still I have to rave about my unbeatable shoe buy yesterday at Far East. My feet hurt like hell from the heels I was wearing, so I went in wanting to find a nicer pair of shoes. Upon a right turn I spotted a pair lying on the floor of a super small shop. They're kinda like lady-like pumps that are in a sweet shade of pink. So I tried them on and they were so comfy!!! Lady came out and said it was 15 bucks so I paid up and wore them straight. I bought a pair of shoes like within 3 mins of entering Far East. Beat that. *smirk

I have to mention that Cher is really great company. She's now officially known as MAO PEH. wahahaha.. I love that girl to bits. Seriously everytime i need company she's the first that comes to mind cos if I begged her she'd go anywhere with me. : )) *kiss for mao peh. And she's always been encouraging no matter what. Plus her advice is always practical and the bottom line is Cher's irreplacable. : )))))

I went down to Wheelock after giving tuition today. Sis suggested I should rent a room near town since I go there almost every friggin day. Waited a sickening half hour at the Nokia care centre. Till I was so bored I decided to go get my all time fav digestive biscuits from M&S but alas! They were bloody sold out. So I ended up getting teacakes and gummies which cost a bomb. yummy nonetheless. and and and!! I influenced my tuition kid to start packing and reorganising her stuff since she's complains about eternal boredom. Asked her to start a diary too.

I'm playing minesweeper flags with Mimi now to appease the sudden anger yo-yo. You better have a good explanation for my waiting up for nothing. Because if you want to know, it was bloody irresponsible of you and I will not condone such behaviour. period.

To people who have given me replies like

"you're damn stupid"
"that wasn't very smart of you"

Yes I really needed you to reinforce that point. Thank you so much! (shitass)

To people who gave me replies like

"nvm it's a lesson learnt"
"next time you'd know what to do"

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you were in front of me I would have given you a nice big hug.

I just cut my hair and incorporated a fringe to look more like I was meant to be in the school for the psychologically unsound. In other words, the intellectually disabled.

The hairstylist was damn cute. I am a sworn customer there now. Hahahaha ok I am so not in the mood to joke. I think I suffer from image depression like all the time. Even if you gave me a Prada bag right now I wouldn't be able to carry it off.

Presenting to you Angie-I.D.I.O.T.O-Lim.

Having just spent 5 and a half hours at work at the Esplanade, I was rather excited at the thought of my first taxi claim cos work exceeded 1145. I've never worked till so late before though it was a rather horrid performance. Therefore I gladly took a taxi all the way back on my own.

Then just as I stepped home i realised that fuck. I had forgotten to take a receipt. fuuuckkkkkk.

I am so pissed at my own stupidity. Really.

And not to mention the performance was like a mat-rock concert. Yuearghh. Damn loud blasting music, stupid pple who wave lighters in the air and take photos like there's no tomorrow. And I was outside for more than 3 hours stoning and ok fine the company was good. But still, how can I be so stupid?

I'm thinking of not going to Melbourne anymore. Firstly because I am so stupid and secondly because i have alot of things I want to buy and lastly because they are so slow in giving me a reply.

Current wishlist:
1) Furla hp chain - $62
2) Polo Ralph shirt - $139
3) Prada bag - $790

Prices stated are before discount except the furla one. Generous donations anyone?

Considering I just blew 22 bucks on taxi fare just now (I got on the cab ONE minute after 12 midnight) and the fact that I treated my mum and sis to lunch which cost me 40 bucks, fuck I could have already gotten my Furla item.

Time for lecithin. Haha I should so take a picture to show you guys how humongous that pill is. Meanwhile I am still having a great desire to flush myself down the toilet bowl.

There were so many highlights of the wedding. Some hiccups here and there but all ended with a blissful smile upon the final settling fact that our first of the third generation of the family has finally officially given herself to her man. : )))

The excitement started on friday night. Prior to that there had already been some madness. The rush to get our clothes, facials and manicures done. haha.. I went with mum to genting to catch Oliver. The casino was of course inevitable, and Grandma asked me to help place bets for her at the "da xiao" table. Which was bummer of course, I've never had any luck at all in the gambling scene.

Anyway, the older half of the cousins went over to the bride's house to stay. Being too excited, we caught about 2-3 hours of shuteye before saturday morning madness started. Getting everything ready whilst the rest of the family trickled in. At 820 (he was damn late) the groom arrived.

Of course with the loud slamming of the horns, thus waking the entire neighbourhood. Negotiations begin with Grandma at the back asking us to open the door. (We all then decided she be banished to the room to stay with the bride as we negotiate for future weddings). After screaming "i will not ever have a mistress", and doing 10 one-hand pushups, he was let in. So easy right? We thus proceeded with the tea ceremony, and then to the temple where the registration took place.

Went to the groom's house for a short while, then proceeded home to prepare for the night. We forgot to bring the guestlist. Sigh that was a bit chaotic and we paled in comparison in terms of organisation to the groom's side.

Here comes the bride!!! and the food begins too. Which was fantastic, considering all the rich food was served. The night ended nicely. We said our goodbyes, went home and died on the bed.

The next day was the second night of the wedding celebration. Which erm I'd rather not comment on. I'd just say it's hard to accomodate everybody and what everyone wishes to do. That night didn't end too well.

But, Dora's married to become Mrs Gan! I was so not used to calling her Dora. haha cos i always call her ah hean but yup it dawned upon me that I won't be seeing her often anymore. She's going to stay with her hubs.

Mum and I then took the new NICE bus back to sg. They've upgraded their buses once again and it's really nice!!! Equipped with lcd screens at each chair which boasts a selection of 4 movies that you can choose from. And now we can book our tickets online without having to go down personally only to be disappointed, or having to call the no-one-picks-up line. We had mineral water, a packet of drink, one sandwich and coffee/tea throughout the journey. And they stopped twice for toilet break (though i never go cos all of the highway toilets are damn gross).

Yup so now it's back to sg life. Start of hibernation plan hasn't worked out quite well. Muhaha. We celebrated Gavin's birthday yesterday at Crystal Jade, 1 Bar and 1 Club. haha tuesday night is rather dead. But nonetheless, HAPPY BIRTHDAY gavinboy!

Too bad my camera has screwed itself up. I have no recollection of banging it against any wall, but i probably did. Actually i was more worried about kt's newly bought camera that was sigh the epitome of a damn good camera. I wanted to kidnap it. 7.1 megapixels!!!!!

Will upload the pics when my cam is alive!
